This prototype for a gemstone identification, collection, and education app called Gemify includes an AR photo recognition element and an embedded map.
Most identification apps aren’t very customizable and hide their better functions behind pay walls, but this concept would be entirely free! I also wanted to include an option for visual and alphabetical catalogs so users can identify stones on their own if they wanted to test their skills.
